The newly recruited 2D artist is actually a long time friend of mine, who moved in next door. ![]() So beginners are more than welcome to join in. Another "behind the scenes" goal of the project is to learn. Someone who understands various application design styles, can handle concepts like threading, scripting systems, and library interfacing… that would rock.Ī few contributing programmers would be nice too. One lead programmer with moderate skills with Cplusplus would be awesome. Really only need programmers at this stage. Contributing programmer, could be beginner skill level. Skill level should be experienced, though not necessarily guru. Photoshop alternatives (free/open source) Various 3D tools (conversion, optimization, etc) Sharing of resources, knowledge, etc is there of course. Team structure is laid back and volunteer based, so no compensation. Future games developed with Erebus could possibly take a revenue bearing path. The goal is to keep the engine free & open source. Also on the planning table are tools to aid in game design. The goal is to create a game development SDK, with a pluggable structure that leaves it open for modding and swapping/adding of various sub-systems.
